  • Begin with a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and “House on stilt” at the same area with the Presidential Palace and the famous One Pillar Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on every Monday and Friday)
  • Make a trip to Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam to discover historic buildings from the Ly and Tran dynasties in a revered place that has seen thousands of doctors’ graduate in what has now become a memorial to education and literature
  • Spend time on the interesting Ethnology Museum (the museum is closed on every Monday) which helps you understand detailedly about the country’s 54 ethnic groups in terms of colorful hill-tribe costumes, weaving designs, musical instruments, fishing implements, work tools and fascinating examples of minority housing
  • Take one-hour cyclo tour with kids through the Old Quarter to see the many sidewalk vendors and people simply out for a stroll
  • Enjoy the stunning Water Puppet Show whose content involves daily life of Vietnamese farmers (cultivating, tending buffalo, catching fishes…), communal entertainment (swimming contest, dragon dancing…), or historical legends (Le Loi returns precious sword…) performed by puppeteers standing in the waist-deep water with the puppets performing over the water

  • Transfer to Halong Bay by a shuttle bus from the cruise and enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta along the road
  • On arrival the meeting point, welcome aboard the cruise with the welcome drink and check-in cabin
  • Refresh and unwind on the cruise until enjoy the typical local lunch in the dining room
  • Then, explore the Surprising Cave (hang Sung Sot), one of the widest and most special caves of Halong Bay with 2 chambers of many stalagmites

  • After breakfast, embark for a slow boat trip to Pak Ou caves 32km up river in which there are more than 6,000 Buddha statues and images with difference in size, quality and material
  • Continue to visit the Kuang Si waterfalls famous for the large cascade of pale turquoise blue water tumbling from the thick jungle above into perfectly sculpted limestone tiered pools below
  • Experience swimming in the refreshing waters or pass by the Asian Bear Rescue Center nearby
  • Climb up to the Phousi Mountain to see the panoramic view of the Luang Prabang city and the magnificent surrounding countryside

  • Feed and get familiar with the graceful elephants on the banks of the Nam Khan River
  • Enjoy the wonderful nature with the elephant riding through the Nam Khan River and forest
