This family vacation starts in Phnom Penh – the capital city of Cambodia. Take a sightseeing tour around the city to visit the Silver Pagoda which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and a visit to the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives; then transfer to Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center to see thousands of animals in Cambodia.
Another shouldn’t miss destination is Siem Reap – the entrance to Cambodia’s most important heritage: Angkor Wat. Besides, coming to Siem Reap, your family can also take a boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake and admire the traditional Apsara show while having dinner.
Leaving Cambodia, you will arrive in Hanoi to visit this 100-year-old city, and enjoy half-hour cyclo tour. Then your family will have a chance to discover some of the treasures spread across the Bay of the Halong (Descending Dragon). Continuing on to the Ancient Capital of Hoi An will lead you to experience the local culture. Besides visiting here, Saigon is another interesting place in Vietnam. - Royal Palace – a complex of buildings that serves as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia, comprising four main compounds: Silver Pagoda, Khemarin Palace, Throne Hall and Inner Court.
- Then, move to Toul Tom Pong Market (Russian Market( – the city’s best place to go shopping for art objects, including textiles, antiques, wood and marble carvings, ritual objects and old Indochina coins.
- End the second day of Cambodia and Laos Family Holiday with a visit to Wat Phnom Temple – Phnom Penh’s namesake – the tallest and most important temple in Phnom Penh Capital. From this temple, your family can enjoy the sunset views over the tree-lined avenues.

- In the morning, head out to Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center – a wonderful home to over 1200 Cambodian animals including leopards, sun bears, elephants, tigers, gibbons, crocodiles, deer, enormous pythons, birds, etc.
- Most of these creatures were rescued from poachers and traffickers, and are kept in excellent, spacious enclosures where they are allowed to roam free. They will be well cared for here at the reserve until they recover when they will be released back into the wild.
- After that, transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for a domestic flight to Siem Reap.

Traditional Apsara Dinner Show in Siem Reap
- Start the Angkor Complex tour with Angkor Wat Temple, listed as UNESCO World Heritage since 1992. With its slender towers and unique bas-reliefs, it is one of the most extraordinary monuments ever designed by the human spirit, erected in the 12th century in honor of the God Vishnu.
- Then, turn to the South Gate to visit all the temples of Angkor Thom, the last royal city of the Khmer empire built under Jayavarman II. Angkor Thom includes Bayon Temple consisting of 54 gigantic towers with the sculpture of more than 200 smiling faces, Phimeanakas, Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants.

Our organisor at Viet Prestige (Hoa Pham) was brilliant from start to finish. She designed and arranged our 15 day tour through Vietnam & Cambodia and our expectations were exceeded in every way.
