DETAILED ITINERARY
  • In the morning, transfer with our guide by the private van to Sapa Town to begin your adventure family holiday from Sapa to Ha Giang
  • Cross a curving pass to reach Sapa Town: a small & mountain town with fresh air, close to the Chinese border and located about 33km from Lao Cai City. A precious chance to captivate the splendid beauty of lush mountains and hills of Hoang Lien Son range
  • Set off this morning with a walk down to the south-west of Sapa (around 3 km) to visit Cat Cat village which is the home to Black H’mong and located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak
  • Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station built by the French

  • Arrive in Bac Ha Market on Sunday to spend the morning visiting the weekly colorful market where people from many different ethnic minority ethnic groups such as Flower H’mong, Phu La and Dao Tuyen gather every Sunday, not only for shopping but also to meet and catch up on the local gossip
  • Drop by the palace of Hoang A Tuong known as a substantial building, with Oriental and European architectural influences and built in the early 20th century
  • After lunch, enjoy a light trek to Ban Pho village which is the home to H’mong ethnic minority to see the picturesque natural allure and their characteristic tradditional crafts

  • Leave Bac Ha and drop by Xin Man and Hoang Su Phi on the road to Ha Giang
  • Xin Man: 60km from Bac Ha Town of Lao Cai Province and completely surrounded by wild mountains and forests. It is home to many ethnic minority groups such as Nung, H’mong, Tay, Dao, Kinh, La Chi, Phu La, Hoa and Cao Lan.
  • Hoang Su Phi: Located 110km west of Ha Giang City with a picturesque backdrop of the spectacular terraced rice fields, rocky mountains, lush valleys, endless skies and the authentic of the locals
  • Arrive in Ha Giang in the late afternoon and then check in the hotel to get free at your leisure
