- Continue on the “Xe Loi” on the village road through green paddy fields and gardens to discover the vast garden of coconuts, grapefruit and coca

- In the morning, begin your family adventure tour with Cu Chi tunnels – a marvelous underground network constructed by Viet Cong soldiers during the long struggle for independence. This 121-kilometer-long complex of tunnels is also served as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters.
- Then, take a half day tour around the city including the Reunification Palace, Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office & War Remnants Museum
- Then, transfer to the airport for a flight to Danang.

Miss Loan the tour operator took us out for an evening meal when in Hanoi, she had been extremely helpful throughout the whole process, particularly as this was our first visit to the area. Then on to Ha Long Bay on an incredible cruise with Ginger Cruise with high quality dinning and wonderful decor in the cabins. Our organisor at Viet Prestige (Hoa Pham) was brilliant from start to finish. She designed and arranged our 15 day tour through Vietnam & Cambodia and our expectations were exceeded in every way. She was always in contact before (and during) the trip to ensure everything was going smoothly and also went far and beyond the call of duty when my wife left her coat in a minibus coming back from Halong Bay. I contacted Thao Dinh at Viet Prestige travel to organise a private tour from North to South Vietnam for 17 days for the two of us.
