Continue the family tour with a 2 days 1 night tour cruising on Mekong River from Luang Say to Huay Xay – a small town located between the border of Laos and Thailand. On the way, visit Pak Ou Caves and some local villages to observe their local life.

- Wake up early to join a Laos Alms Giving Ceremony, at which hundreds of Luang Prabang monks from the different 35 temples walk in silence, meditating as they collect their daily alms from devotees.
- Your city tour begins after the breakfast, with some highlights in Luang Prabang such as Royal Palace Museum, Wat Xieng Thong – one of the largest and the most decorative temples; Wat Mai with its impressive gilded facade.
- Reach the top of Mount Phousi by c;climbing 328 steps then enjoy the panoramic views of the city.
- Transfer by tuk tuk to Kuang Si Waterfalls that flows through limestone-rich jungle. Your family can go swimming on gently cascading pools.
- By the way, admire the Bear Rescue Centre along the jungle walk to the falls.

- Cruise to the Pak Ou Caves – located at the mouth of the Nam Ou River. Take a shore excursion to visit the Tam Thing Caves of Thousand Buddha images.
- Keep cruising upstream the Mekong River to a hill tribe village. There, your family can observe the traditional process of Laos’ whiskey production.
- When the sun sets, make a stop at Pak Beng, a small village in Bokeo Province, Northern Laos.

Our organisor at Viet Prestige (Hoa Pham) was brilliant from start to finish. She designed and arranged our 15 day tour through Vietnam & Cambodia and our expectations were exceeded in every way.
