- Begin with a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and “House on stilt” at the same area with the Presidential Palace and the famous One Pillar Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on every Monday and Friday)
- Make a trip to Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam to discover historic buildings from the Ly and Tran dynasties in a revered place that has seen thousands of doctors’ graduate in what has now become a memorial to education and literature
- Spend time on the interesting Ethnology Museum (the museum is closed on every Monday) which helps you understand detailedly about the country’s 54 ethnic groups in terms of colorful hill-tribe costumes, weaving designs, musical instruments, fishing implements, work tools and fascinating examples of minority housing
- Take one-hour cyclo tour with kids through the Old Quarter to see the many sidewalk vendors and people simply out for a stroll
- Enjoy the stunning Water Puppet Show whose content involves daily life of Vietnamese farmers (cultivating, tending buffalo, catching fishes…), communal entertainment (swimming contest, dragon dancing…), or historical legends (Le Loi returns precious sword…) performed by puppeteers standing in the waist-deep water with the puppets performing over the water

Visit Hanoi city by the rickshaw
- After the breakfast, be picked up by our guide and driver to transfer to Mai Chau located in Hoa Binh province with approximately 135 km from Hanoi and 60 km from Hoa Binh city
- Drop by the Cun Mountain to take a rest and have a wonderful chance to see a panoramic scene of Mai Chau surrounded by a green valley and stilt houses
- Arrive in Pom Coong village and take a short walk to discover the ethnic Thai people

Our organisor at Viet Prestige (Hoa Pham) was brilliant from start to finish. She designed and arranged our 15 day tour through Vietnam & Cambodia and our expectations were exceeded in every way.
