  • Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon City). Your family will meet Viet Prestige Travel’s guide and driver at the airport and the team will move to the hotel.
  • Enjoy the rest of the day walking through Saigon streets and Ben Thanh Market to go shopping for souvenirs and take a Vietnamese Street food tour.
  • In the evening, enjoy a dinner on the cruise ship sails along the Saigon river where you can admire the fantastic night scenery of this dynamic city.
  • Then, take a walking tour to Nguyen Hue walking street and Bui Vien walking street to taste the night life of locals!

  • The highlight of the second day of Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangkok Family Holiday is full-day My Tho – Ben Tre Tour on Mekong Delta – the “rice bowl” of Vietnam.
  • Drive smoothly one and a half hour through the rice paddy fields to My Tho. 
  • Board the motorboat at a pier for a cruise on Mekong River to observe the floating lives on the colorful boats and admire the four beautiful islands including Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn and Tortoise islands.
  • Have a simple lunch at the local restaurant with Banh Xeo and especially, deep-fried elephant-ear fish – a classic Mekong delicacy. This dish is usually rolled with noodles (bún), cucumber, herbs and pickles in rice paper.
  • Take a visit to the coconut candy mill to learn the locals how to make them from the fresh coconut. Your family can taste the sample candies.
  • Take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals. 
  • Cycle in the village path through orchards. Enjoy wonderful fresh fruit while listening to “Đờn ca tài tử” – Southern Vietnamese Folk music, a kind of music entwined with the life and cultue of the Mekong Delta people.
  • Meet the private vans and return back to Ho Chi Minh City after a full day exploring Mekong Delta’s daily life.

  • Drive out for 40 hours to Cu Chi Tunnel Complex – a famous symbol of Vietnamese history, consist of various underground tunnels which create a unique and stunning ancient structure. 
  • The tunnels were not very deep, but they was built to resistant to bullets and the weight of tanks, armored vehicles, and deep sections resisted small bombs during the war.
  • Back to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch and then start a half-day tour around the city:
  • Reunification Palace – a must-visit for tourists in Saigon, used to be the base of  Vietnamese General Ngo Dinh Diem until his death in 1963.
  • Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral  – one of the few remaining strongholds of Catholicism in the largely Buddhist Vietnam, built in the late 1880s by French colonists.
  • The Old Saigon Post Office –  a beautifully preserved remnant of French colonial times and perhaps the grandest post office in all of Southeast Asia.
  • After that, transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a international flight to Siem Reap City.
  • Overnight in Siem Reap.

  • Starting this day with Angkor Wat temple – the largest monument in the world built from the early 12th century and the symbol of Cambodia. This Hindu temple complex is dedicated to the God Vishnu for the Khmer Empire. It’s a miniature replica of the universe in stone and represents an earthly model of the cosmic world. There are five towers rising from the centre of the monument correspond to the peaks of Meru.
  • Then, move to Angkor Thom, which is famous for Bayon Temple located in the centre of this ancient city. This special temple consists of 54 towers and more than two hundred smiling Buddha faces.
  • Continue the tour to Ta Prohm Temple – a jungle temple covered with the huge trees and the massive roots growing out of the walls.
  • The tour ends with charming Banteay Srei Temple (Citadel of Women or Citadel of Beauty) that is impressive with the pink color and the intricacy of its bas-relief carvings on the walls.
  • Enjoy an traditional Apsara dance show while having dinner at a local restaurant.
