DETAILED ITINERARY
- Upon arrival at Siem Reap, you will be welcome by Viet Prestige Travel’s tour guide then transfer to your hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is at leisure.
- Enjoy a wonderful dinner with Apsara Dance – classical Khmer performance art inspired by the water and cloud spirit of Hindu and Buddhist mythology.
- Overnight in Siem Reap – a resort town in northwestern Cambodia. This city is the gateway to the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th–15th centuries.

- Spend the second day of Vietnam and Cambodia Family Vacation with local guide on sightseeing temple tour through Angkor’s vast complex of intricate stone buildings including:
- Angkor Wat – a Buddhist temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. Catch the sunrise outside of Angkor Wat at about 5:00 a.m then explore the interior of the great temple, its corridors, central chambers and upper terraces.
- This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple
- Angkor Thom – famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Southern Gate, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King.
- Ta Prohm – the jungle covered temple with enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

- Head out of town to visit Banteay Srei – the most interesting temples outside Angkor Thom city. Banteay Srei (Temple of Women or Pink Temple) with detailed reliefs on sandstone structure is regarded as the finest and most skillfully crafted in Cambodia.
- Along the way, make stopover at the Preah Dark village and visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishnu as well as Krishna legends.
- Pay a visit to Neak Pean – a Buddhist temple on a circular artificial island within Jayatataka Baray and Preah Khan Temple – a ruined but highly armostpheric melange of tree roots and crumbling stone structures.
- Spend the rest of day visiting the “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor” which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting.

Banteay Srei Temple (Temple of Women)
- Have breakfast at hotel and then observe the fisherman’s life and explore the floating villages by a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake – the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.
- Free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for your departure flight to Hanoi.

- Hanoi Old Quarter – Hanoi’s 36 streets used to be the residential, manufacturing and commercial center, where each street was specialized in one specific type of manufacturing or commerce.

- Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay for about 2 and a half hours via the Red River Delta.
- Upon arrival, set out on a junk cruise on the bay while a lunch with seafood is served.
- Pass through the magical bay, where more than 3,000 of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth.
- Take a short trek to Ti Tov Summit for a panoramic view of the bay or Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) for admiring various sparkling stalactites and stalagmites.
- Go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck.
- Back on board, you can enjoy watching the peaceful sunset and join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration class to learn how to make spring rolls.

- Go kayaking or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel in a scenic lagoon.
- Have a walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.
- Drive back to Hanoi for the next flight to Hue – the capital of the Southern Kingdom under Nguyen Lords’ Dynasty, and officially became the nation’s capital under Tay Son Dynasty, King Quang Trung. This is the last imperial capital of Vietnam, well-known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs.

- After breakfast, spend an entire day touring the Vietnam’s former ancient capital.
- Start the day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City where your family will get better understanding of the beauty of Vietnamese Royal architecture and culture.
- – Imperial City of Hue was once an enormous complex full of all the executive and bureaucracy you would expect from a country’s capital. It was enclosed within a square fortress (also known as the Hue Citadel), with each of the four walls about 2 kilometres long and a wide moat on the outside. All through this huge city were temples, palaces, offices, gardens, and residences. The most important bit was in the middle.
- – Purple Forbidden City, located in the middle of the city, is the most important bit. This place is used to be the private residence of the emperor and his closest confidants lived and worked. In the past, it would have been inaccessible to most people. Now, of course, we can all walk through it and see what remains.
- Then, take a beautiful dragon boat trip along Perfume River and visit to Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in Vietnam.
- In the afternoon, continue on your family journey with the visit to King Ming Mang and King Khai Dinh tombs which are the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty.

- After breakfast, leave Hue for Hoian, which used to be Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century, by private vans.
- On the way, have a look at the famous Danang’s My Khe Beach, and visit Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world, Marble Mountain – a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples and Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village located at the foot of Marble Mountains.

- Reunification Palace – a must-visit for tourists in Saigon, used to be the base of Vietnamese General Ngo Dinh Diem until his death in 1963.
- Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral – one of the few remaining strongholds of Catholicism in the largely Buddhist Vietnam, built in the late 1880s by French colonists.
- The Old Saigon Post Office – a beautifully preserved remnant of French colonial times and perhaps the grandest post office in all of Southeast Asia.
- Ben Thanh Market – an ideal place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, Vietnamese art and other souvenirs. Here, you’ll find eating stalls inside the market where you can get a taste of hawker-style Vietnamese cuisine.

- Ready for a 2-hour drive to Ben Tre – the best option for a day trip to the Mekong Delta from Saigon with plenty of coconuts being unloaded from boats for dispatch around the country.
- Stop at some of Ben Tre’s most renowned handicraft workshops, where diligent workers fire bricks, process coconut into many different forms and weave mats with the aid of dried reeds and a huge loom; then try weaving your own mat under the guidance of an experienced local.
- Next, take a walk around a picturesque village and its beautiful, tropical surrounds or take a local Xe Loi (motorised rickshaw) into the jungle where your family can discover exotic fruit orchards and enjoy lunch in a restaurant overlooking the river.
- Try the local specialities of deep-fried elephant-ear fish and freshly caught river shrimp.
